Webinar Nordic approach to children with deafblindness – September 23, 14.00-16.00 EEST

23.septembrī no pl.14.00-16.00 Ziemeļvalstu Ministru padomes birojs Lietuvā sadarbībā ar Ziemeļvalstu Labklājības centru un Lietuvas partneriem rīko vebināru par bērnu ar kombinētiem redzes&dzirdes traucējumiem (neredzību-nedzirdību) identificēšanu un atbalstīšanu (angliski, ar tulkojumu lietuviešu valodā un lietuviešu zīmju valodā). Ikvienam angļu valodu saprotošam Latvijas speciālistam ir iespēja piedalīties šai vebinārā, iepriekš reģistrējoties. Programma, mērķauditoriju raksturojums un reģistrācijas saite – zemāk.

Vebināra tēma – cilvēku ar kombinētiem redzes&dzirdes traucējumiem (neredzību-nedzirdību) identificēšanas un atbalstīšanas metodes – noderēs dažādu jomu profesionāļiem un ģimenes locekļiem, kuriem ir saskare ar verbālu valodu nelietojošiem vai ierobežoti lietojošiem bērniem un pieaugušajiem. Saskaņā ar Ziemeļvalstu pieredzi daļai cilvēku, kuriem primāri diagnosticēti garīgās attīstības traucējumi vai cita veida kombinēti funkcionāli ierobežojumi, var piemist arī savlaicīgi neidentificēti kombinēti sensorie traucējumi.

Ziemeļvalstu lektoru kompetences aptver gan specializētu akadēmisku izglītību, gan ilgstošu praktiskā darba pieredzi.

Uzziņai: Latvijā cilvēki ar iedzimtiem vai iegūtiem kombinētiem redzes un dzirdes traucējumiem netiek identificēti. Nav pieejami specializēti atbalsta pakalpojumi ne pašiem cilvēkiem, ne tiem profesionāļiem, kuri viņiem sniedz medicīnas, izglītības vai sociālos pakalpojumus.

2019. gada rudenī sadarbībā ar Ziemeļvalstu Labklājības centru (ZLC) un Strazdumuižas vidusskolu rīkojām klātienes semināru par cilvēku ar kombinētiem redzes&dzirdes traucējumiem (neredzību-nedzirdību) identificēšanu un atbalstīšanu. Toreiz seminārs guva ārkārtīgi lielu atsaucību un interesentu skaits pārsniedza pieejamās 170 vietas. Pandēmijas situācija diemžēl neļāva šādas klātienes apmācības piedāvāt vēl citiem Latvijas profesionāļiem, kuriem nepietika vietas pirmajā seminārā.

The webinar “Nordic approach to deafblindness” will take place on September 23^rd 2021.

The aim of the webinar is to introduce the Nordic approach to congenital deafblindness, present the methods of functional assessment of persons with deafblindness, with the focus on development of support and education services to children and their parents.

The webinar is targeted to practitioners from special schools and kindergartens, psychological-pedagogical services, health experts (oftalmologists, otolaringologists, pediatricians, child psychiatrists,etc.), NGOs in the area of disability, students of social work, parents from the Baltic countries.
